Grant and I have over 35 years combined experience training dogs for AKC and UKC retriever competitions. Obedience is the foundation to any solid working dog. The obedience standard for a pet should be no different than it is for a working dog. We use a balanced training technique that includes E-Collar conditioning, which you will not see at most training facilities catering to the average pet owner. We are proudly not an all-positive training facility and we pride ourselves in teaching our clients about the amazing results of dog training done the fair and balanced way. This is a method that sticks with your dog for a lifetime, as long as the same standard is maintained at home. Dogs thrive off of structure and do best when there is a set of rules in place that they know and understand. We find joy in working with our clients to provide them with the tools to own a more enjoyable and under control dog. We do all of the training ourselves, so that no details are overlooked. We are passionate about our work and the dogs that come through our kennels. Off Leash Tyler is located at our One Shot Retrievers training facility in Frankston, TX. We live on site with the dogs and treat them as our own while they are in our care. We look forward to speaking with you about your pet!
(6 week course)
Our obedience program is a 6 week long course, which will provide your pet with the tools they need to be consistently obedient on and off leash. After the completion of the course, you will be able to call your dog off of any distraction reliably. They will learn Here, Heel, Sit, Down, and Kennel, as well as basic manners, like not jumping. At the end of the program, owners will work with us to learn commands and how to correct properly and fairly with an E-Collar.
Our obedience program is $2500 and your pet will stay with us for the duration of the course.
